Handling complaints.  The Board of Managers sets policy and makes decisions that concern the community as a whole. Unless a matter rises to the policy level, it is not up to the Board to handle the vast majority of complaints.

Board members are unpaid volunteers, and they don't have either the time or the staff required to do a good job of handling complaints. That important function is why Winding Ridge retains a Property Manager like Hudson North and has its own managing agent.

So when you have a complaint about something, address your inquiries and repair requests to Rose Pilla first.  If she is not the person to handle it, she will pass it along to someone who is, either right away if it's urgent, or if via email it's not.  If it involves a policy matter, then it will be addressed at the next BOM meeting.
